The official blog of FrockShop.com

I’m sure many of you have heard of the blogger obsession, how every blogger is obsessed with something… well this collection is mine, having already blogged about it a couple of times on my own blog Harper and Harley. Maybe it’s all the soft pastels in a season that usually lends itself to the deeper tones, perhaps it’s the collaboration with illustrator Caitlin Shearer, or maybe it’s that beautifully presented lookbook that sucked me in and made me fall in love.
How excited I was when I was invited by Frockshop to come in to their beautiful flagship boutique in Brisbane’s James st and have a play around in some of Karla’s pieces, AND get to take part in a mini photo shoot with Lauren from PenyLane and Mark from The Vine. And let me tell you, nothing was going to stop me from going head to toe in the Caitlin Shearer printed skirt and jacket. I loved the twist detail in the two-tone dress and adored the little A-Line number.
The outfits definitely brought out the girly girl in me, something I don’t usually go for. And yet I think there’s still a nice balance between dressing cute and sweet and the ok you’re 21 not 5 years old thing going on. Although I did sport some frilly white socks that were reminiscent of the ones I use to wear in preschool…
